We Burn Too Bright Cover Reveal - ellepallmore.com/blog

Happy Friday!

The world has been bonkers lately, and if you’re like me, you’re doing a lot of reading in your spare time. Additionally, I’ve been working diligently on the release of my next YA contemporary novel, We Burn Too Bright! This book has so many of my favorite things: summertime, the ocean, small towns, unconventional friendships, and a girl at the center of it all, trying to figure out her life. My heart is truly in every word.

So, what’s it about? Here’s a description:

Seventeen-year-old Wella Scotland doesn’t remember much from the night her best friend disappeared, but a full moon glinting off the knife in his hand is the one thing she can’t forget. The argument started when she found out Finn planned to move away; her next memory is running from him. Everything in between is a deep, black hole.

Almost a year later, Finn is nowhere to be found and Wella still doesn’t understand how this perfect boy—the one who was her whole world—could ever want to hurt her. She buries her sorrow under mind-numbing pizza deliveries and denial, but when signs that Finn has returned appear around her small town, she can no longer ignore the more complicated story hiding underneath her missing memories.

Enter Tusk, the quirky guy from group therapy, who insists on helping Wella figure out what happened the night Finn left. As the truth unfolds, Wella is forced to rethink everything about Finn—and herself—she once believed. Faced with reality, her decision is clear: salvage her friendship, though it may be too broken to fix, or forever live with the unresolved damage of a night that changed her forever.

And now…the COVER!!

I have to say, this one is my favorite so far. I hope you love it, too!

Soon, you’ll see this cover featured on the landing page of my site. The release date is somewhere in late Spring 2020 for the e-book, and not too long after, the paperback will be available on Amazon as well. Are you getting excited? I know I am!

Talk to you soon!
